IKM Appoint Trained Mental Health First Aiders
IKM News • October 2019

On World Mental Health Day, we are proud to announce that we now have three Mental Health First Aiders at IKM. Audrey, Paddi and Lori are now trained to identify the many signs that can indicate poor mental health and wellbeing in people and how to provide support. They undertook a 2 day course with our Charity of the Year Falkirk’s Mental Health Association (FDAMH).
At IKM, the Mental Health of the team is every bit as important as the Physical Health and introducing our own Mental Health First Aiders emphasises our commitment to this.
Thanks to Audrey, Paddi and Lori for volunteering to complete this training and thanks to FDAMH for delivering the course.
