IKM Selected for LNG Import Terminal Project in Scotland

IKM Consulting is delighted to announce we have been chosen by Crown LNG Holdings Limited (“Crown LNG”) as their design partner for their floating LNG import terminal in the Firth of Forth, Scotland. Crown LNG is a leading provider of LNG liquefaction and regasification terminal technologies for harsh weather locations. IKM will lead the design and consenting for the project, representing a critical milestone as the project advances toward the Final Investment Decision (FID).

Strategically located on Scotland’s east coast, the project aims to bolster the UK’s energy security amidst the geopolitical impacts on global energy markets. The UK currently relies on just three facilities for all LNG imports, which surged by 74% from 2021 to 2022.

IKM’s role encompasses the outline scheme consenting, Pre-FEED and FEED (front end engineering and design) phases, including project management and execution planning.
