Grangemouth firm IKM are celebrating their 20th year going from strength to strength. As long-term providers of a specialist service portfolio to Petroineos, the firm are focussed on providing innovative and solution focussed services.
Awarded a new two-year contract this week, IKM are pleased that their unique portfolio of services continues to contribute to the operational standards held by the Grangemouth refinery.
David Taylor, MD at IKM said ‘We’ve worked really hard to evaluate what value we could provide to our clients in terms of innovation – there will always be the necessary engineering and environmental regulation requirements to be met – but what about the quality of service delivery and creative solutions on offer? What will keep our clients coming back?’.
The firm has undertaken a rigorous exercise in creating integrated solutions around Tank Storage, Pipelines and COMAH Compliance.
David Taylor commented ‘If we don’t go the extra mile to ensure that we’re planning long-term for the next 20 years, there’s a risk of falling behind the curve. So we’re focussed on proactive long-term planning, looking at how technology and integrated, value-added services will change the way business is done in the future.’
The new contract with Petroineos will cover services in Civil and Structural Engineering, Building Design Services, Geo-environmental and Surveying.
