IKM Visit Bo’ness Academy for DYW Forth Valley Event
IKM News • Feb 2018

Bo’ness Academy cluster primary 7 pupils were learning about natural disasters on Friday as part of a DYW Forth Valley event. Our Senior Scientist Neil Chalmers, who is also a volunteer helmsman with the RNLI, took part in the event speaking to pupils about how the RNLI fits into the response to natural disasters such as flood events. Eight groups of young people had 8 minutes with each organisation to find out more about what they do, as part of a project. A good day was had by all!
