Health & Safety Issues. IKM are experienced in the assessment of risk for a wide variety of circumstances.
Site risk assessments, method statements and risk management plans are prepared for all significant works. The plans identify risks and hazards, plan working methods and prepare strategies for dealing with any emergencies or accidents. As much of IKM's work is carried out within permit to work facilities, our staff are extremely well trained. We also employ a Qualified Environmental Hazard Assessment Manager, who holds the NEBOSH National Certificate and CDM construction, safety and health qualifications.
IKM have extensive experience of working in dangerous and hazardous conditions, including:
- Contaminated sites
- Petrochemical complexes
- Explosion / blast risk
- Demolition of complex structures and petrochemical facilities
- Offshore working including military installations, jetties and oil rigs
- Over water investigations
- Unexploded ordnance
- Roped access.
This experience, coupled with a serious approach to safety, has led to IKM building an extensive knowledge of health and safety and risk issues, practices and legislation. IKM provides specialised risk advice, emergency and contingency plans and risk management plans to a range of clients.
