Brief

IKM Consulting Ltd were commissioned by a major National House builder to provide an engineering service for a proposed residential development in Rumford near Falkirk.

Solution

As part of the Building Warrant application, IKM Consulting Ltd were required to structurally certify all house types and to inspect foundations during construction. This involved carrying out design calculations for all structural elements including walling, mid-floors and foundations.

In addition, IKM was commissioned to design the new culvert access over a stream.
